NEXST Inc. ("the Company", "we", "us", "our") appropriately protects personal information collected from users of the game application "DearSt! RHYTHM STAGE" (the "Service") and handles such information as set forth below.

Article 1 (Information We Collect)

In providing the Service, the Company may collect the following information.

(1) Account information: Identifiers linked to your LINE account and other information used to identify users.

(2) Information necessary for the provision of rewards:

  • Name, address, telephone number, and other information necessary for the provision or delivery of rewards.
  • Wallet addresses and other related information entered in connection with the point lock feature or other free-grant campaigns conducted by the Company or its partners.

(3) Service usage information
Usage history, operation logs, access dates and times, error logs, and history of point grants, use, and locking, etc.

(4) Device and communication information
IP addresses, device identifiers, cookies, and other similar information.

Article 2 (Purposes of Use)

The Company will use the information collected for the following purposes.

  • (1) To provide and operate the Service and to verify the identity of users;
  • (2) To grant and manage DearSt Points and to handle exchanges for rewards, entries into prize drawings, and similar matters;
  • (3) To provide and deliver rewards and to communicate in connection therewith;
  • (4) To determine eligibility, calculate allocations, and process distributions in connection with free-grant campaigns conducted by the Company or its partners;
  • (5) To detect, prevent, and respond to fraudulent use;
  • (6) To respond to inquiries;
  • (7) To provide notices and other information regarding the Service;
  • (8) To improve the Service, develop new features, and analyze usage.

Article 3 (Provision to Third Parties)

1. The Company will not provide users' personal information to any third party except in the following cases:

  • (1) Where the user has consented;
  • (2) Where required by laws or regulations;
  • (3) Where necessary for the protection of the life, body, or property of a person, and obtaining the user's consent is difficult;
  • (4) Where particularly necessary for improving public health or promoting the sound development of children, and obtaining the user's consent is difficult;
  • (5) Where it is necessary to cooperate with a national agency, local government, or a person entrusted thereby in executing affairs prescribed by laws and regulations, and obtaining the user's consent may impede the execution of such affairs.

2. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Company may provide third parties with information that has been statistically processed so as not to allow identification of any user.

Article 4 (Outsourcing)

The Company may outsource all or part of the handling of personal information to external contractors for the provision, operation, and improvement of the Service. In such cases, the Company will provide necessary and appropriate supervision of such contractors.

Article 5 (Provision to Overseas Operators, etc.)

1. For the provision, operation, or maintenance of the Service, the Company may store collected information on servers located outside Japan, or may entrust the handling of such information to operators located outside Japan.

Article 6 (Security Management)

The Company will take necessary and appropriate security management measures to prevent the leakage, loss, damage, or unauthorized access of personal information collected.

Article 7 (Retention Period)

The Company will retain collected information only for the period necessary to achieve the purposes of use, and will delete or anonymize such information by appropriate methods in accordance with applicable laws when it is no longer needed.

Article 8 (Rights of Users)

Article 10 (Changes to this Policy)

1. The Company may change this Policy as necessary.

2. If the Company changes this Policy, the Company will publish the changed content within the Service or on the Company's website, or by other methods prescribed by the Company, and such changes shall take effect from the time of such publication or another time specified by the Company.
